Pembrook provided a $6 million mezzanine loan to acquire and renovate Stonehaven apartments, a 200-unit garden-style property located just outside the City of Columbia, Howard County, MD, which sits in the heart of the Washington-Baltimore corridor.
The Sponsor,Fieldstone Properties, is an owner and manager of apartment properties in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and Florida. Since inception in 2001, FSP has acquired over 10,000 apartment units and established a track record of repositioning under-managed assets. The Stonehaven Apartments represents the company’s second investment in the Baltimore/Washington DC area.

Amenities for the property include on-site shared community centers, club house, planned social activities, maintenance, public transportation, wi-fi, package service, tennis court, playground, pool, fitness center, and walking/biking trails. Apartments features include full-size washer/dryers, newly renovated bathrooms, CleanSteel appliances, vinyl wood flooring, designer kitchens, and granite countertops.
